A native of Washington, DC, Tom grew up outside of Philadelphia and attended school in the city. A love of building things started very early in life spurred on by a handy grandfather. With a degree in Dramatic Art and a graduate degree in Mass Communications from Boston University, Tom’s career followed public relations and promotions and always found time for home renovations and set and lighting design in the college theatre where he also taught college courses in set design. He later served on the campaign staff of Presidential, Congressional and Senate candidates and worked as an editor and lobbyist for a national construction association.
Seeking a slower pace, Tom became the chief executive of the Stowe, Vermont chamber of commerce successfully turning the summer season into the most profitable time of the year. That was the jumping off point for him to start his own advertising, design and marketing business. He has published numerous national magazines and designed more than 75 websites as well as a kiosk-based virtual concierge system outfitted in more than 100 hotels.
In his spare time in Stowe, he built luxury homes from purchasing and clearing the raw land all the way through to completion. It is this invaluable construction experience that his real estate clients appreciate when they are previewing properties. Tom has held a Florida real estate license since 2016. He loves previewing beautiful properties with customers and truly enjoys sharing his love for Vero Beach with others.
